TEEN LATINITAS COUNCIL

February 28
1:30pm to 3:30pm
Armijo Public Library
620 E. 7th Avenue

Latinitas Magazine is accepting applications for our Teen Latinitas Council. This is a leadership development program where Latina teens ages 14 to 18 create peer-to-peer empowering messages. Through service learning, teens discover how to express themselves and use media as a tool for social justice to address issues affecting Hispanic girls. Latinitas will host an orientation session on February 28th from 1:30 to 3:30pm at Armijo Public Library located at 620 E. 7th Avenue. Members get published, receive on-going media training and connect with professional mentors. This is a great opportunity for aspiring journalists to have their voice heard! If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Alicia Rascon at intern@latinitasmagazine.org, www.LatinitasMagazine.com or (915) 219.8554
