Calling all aspiring journalists! Latinitas Magazine is currently recruiting female high-school students, ages 14 to 18, to serve on the Teen Latinitas Council. Members will write content for TeenLatinitas.com and MyLatinitas.com. Latinitas will host an orientation for junior reporters on January 24th at 1:30 to 3:30pm at Armijo Public Library located at 620 E. 7th Avenue. Members will receive on-going journalism training and be connected with professional journalists as mentors. This is a great opportunity for aspiring journalists to be published in a growing magazine and have their voice heard! We are looking for fresh ideas on all content related to Latina youth culture appropriate for high-school students. Latinitas is currently accepting applications from female high-school students who seek hands-on journalism experience.
