Saturday, January 29, 10:00-4:30pm at the Main Public Library (501 North Oregon). Latinas is launching its second Teen Leadership Institute where local female teens interested in learning more about leadership and volunteerism are encouraged to apply. Volunteers are also needed the day of the event to help with set up, run through and break down. Volunteers are needed to help with planning these monthly leadership workshops, arranging future guest speakers to speak at the workshops and acquiring donations such money, door prizes, supplies or food. We are also seeking Latina leaders to serve as guest speakers for our upcoming monthly workshops.
