Members of our teen leadership institute are working on a group community service project. The group has chosen to host a girl empowerment conference in November geared at promoting leadership among middle school girls. The conference will offer educational workshops for middle school girls and their moms. We need assistance with finding a donated venue for the event as well as helping fundraise and secure donations of lunch, snacks, goodie bags, and prizes. Volunteers are also needed to aid with coordinating the adult portion of the conference to recruit guest speakers for presentations geared towards mothers and informational exhibits.
