LULAC Conference for Women - 3/27

Latinitas has been invited to host an information table at the upcoming LULAC Conference for Women. As part of International Women’s Day, The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) District IV, in collaboration with El Paso Community College Diversity Programs, will present the 4th annual “LULAC Women’s Conference” from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Saturday, March 27 in the Auditorium of Building A at EPCC’s Administrative Services Center, 9050 Viscount. This year’s theme is “Empowering Latinas Through Education to be Healthy, Wealthy and Wise.” Special guest speakers include Rep. Loretta Sánchez, California and Norma Cantú, law professor, UT Austin and former cabinet member in the Clinton Administration. Volunteers are needed to assist at our information table to hand out promotional materials and inform the general public about our programs and how they can get involved.
