Find out how you can join the Latinitas movement to empower Latina youth. Latinitas is a nonprofit focused on the empowerment and advancement of Hispanic girls through media, art, culture and technology. We are a volunteer driven organization that offers girl empowerment clubs, mentoring programs, festivals, camps, events and internships to help young Latinas become leaders and succeed. Volunteers are needed to assist with fundraising, marketing, event planning, volunteer recruitment, youth outreach, public relations and more. Come to our office to meet Latinitas staff and learn more about the organization, programs and how you can get involved. Stop by our Open House anytime between 9am to 6pm. Alliance for Latinitas Meeting - May 19

The Alliance for Latinitas is a group of leaders who are committed to promoting the participation of Hispanic women in civic arenas. This is a new group of Latinas dedicated to helping empower Hispanic girls by raising community awareness and funds for Latinitas. The Alliance for Latinitas was formed as a volunteer arm of Latinitas to bring women together to address issues unique to young Hispanas. The Alianza achieves this goal by organizing fundraising events and projects to provide educational scholarships and stipends for low-income girls to participate in Latinitas programs and attain their educational goals. We believe that by women coming together in a spirit of collaboration, we can make a difference in the lives of local girls! Find out how you can get involved by attending our next meeting.
